Teleprompter for Zoom, Meet and Teams

Teleprompters are for scripts. Calls don't follow scripts.

You want to look at the camera and still say the right thing. A teleprompter helps when you read a speech. On a live call, the other person changes the subject. GlideRail is a conversation rail for your Mac: your notes sit right by your camera, and when someone says a word from one of your headings, Live Rail (Pro, on an Apple Silicon Mac) offers that card. The audio is never recorded or sent.

Quick answer

A teleprompter works on a video call only while you read a set script. Once the other person asks something, you need the card for that question. GlideRail keeps your notes by your camera on Zoom, Meet and Teams, out of your screen share with Pro (on Zoom, with "Advanced capture with window filtering" on), and on an Apple Silicon Mac, Live Rail (Pro) offers the card for a heading when someone says its words.

GlideRail is a conversation rail for your Mac: your notes stay in view while you record, and the final video never shows them.

On a call, the other person sets the order

A prospect asks about price in minute two. A client jumps to the problem you planned for the end. A scrolling script is now in the wrong place, and you are hunting for the line while they wait.

And when you share your screen, a notes window can end up in front of everyone.

When this fits a video call

Use it when you talk with people, not at them, and you share your screen.

Best for

  • Sales calls and demos on Zoom, Google Meet or Microsoft Teams.
  • Client calls where you share a deck or a dashboard.
  • Webinars with questions you can expect.

Watch out for

  • Live Rail needs an Apple Silicon Mac (M1 or later).
  • It only offers cards you wrote. It does not write answers for you.
  • Staying out of screen share is part of Pro.

How to set up notes for a video call

  • Write a card for each thing people ask: price, timing, the hard objection, proof.
  • Give each card a heading in their words, not yours.
  • Keep each card to a few lines you can read at a glance.
  • Do one test call with screen share on before an important one.

FAQs

Can people see GlideRail when I share my screen?

With Pro, no. It stays out of your screen share and your recording. On Zoom, turn on Advanced capture with window filtering first. Run one test call to check your setup.

What is free and what is Pro?

Free is the whole editor and library, free forever: notes, folders, import, auto-scroll, Notch Mode, sticky notes and extra windows. Pro keeps it out of your screen share and adds Cue Mode with Live Rail, voice following (Apple Silicon), click-through and unlimited folders.

Is GlideRail a teleprompter for Zoom?

No. A teleprompter scrolls a script. GlideRail holds your cards and offers the right one when the call reaches it, so you answer what was asked instead of reading ahead.

Does it work with Google Meet and Microsoft Teams?

Yes. It sits beside any call app on your Mac.

Does Live Rail record the call?

No. It listens on your Mac, and the audio is never recorded or sent.

Can I try it for free?

Yes. Every download comes with 7 days of Pro, free, no card needed.
